Part Scanning

part scanning

Part scanning is used to accurately capture the geometric features of an object. The data may be used for failure analysis, reverse engineering, or the recreation of a part that is needed. Part scanning is typically done with coordinate measuring systems, computed tomography (CT scanning), turntable scanning, or a hand scanner.

part scanning includes:

  • Recreating a part

  • Reverse Engineering

  • Modifying a current design

  • Finding defects

  • Part measurements
